The Backcountry Collections
The Brief

The business came to me with two objectives; they needed an experience that (a) was highly visual and catalogue-like, with the ability to tell a larger merchandise narrative, and (b) was simple and to the point so that customers could shop a large breadth of products quickly. This boiled down to highly visual shopping.

Parallel Narratives

The Experience was capable of being browsed in two ways: One was a mass consumption method in which the user scrolls down the page and takes in the breadth of product available. The second was a more linear method, utilizing a carousel to give the user a more intimate way to engage with the title cards and product.
